I think the forum IS a very good idea since it allows open discussion on any topic and the sharing and discussing of ideas is a great strength of higher education. And I agree with Kency that if someone has something to contribute they should be confident to be associated by name with their own contributions.

So many companies now have internal web boards for staff and also do their external business by email - I think this would be a great opprotunity to practice this sort of communicatiaon for future application (when it really counts!)
