As a Maidenhead based band we’ve been gigging in the Bucks and Berks area for about a year. In the last 6 months we’ve begun to break onto the London circuit, playing at such venues as the Dublin Castle and The Underworld. Also to our name we hold the title of ‘2002 winners’ of the ‘Bottle of the Bands’ competition at the Purple Turtle, Reading (from a selection of 15 bands including Blind Eye Policy and Fume). Other bands that we’ve played with include Lebatol, Jessie James, The Kennedy Soundtrack, One Dice, Miocene, Age of Ruin, Kill II This, Sikth, Labrat, Skinlab and Fallen To. Blind II Reality’s music is as equally upbeat as downbeat creating a concoction of aggression and restraint. Lyrically our songs express true to life emotions of desperation in alliance with angst. Glimmers of hope break the melancholic moods melodically and rhythmically throughout the vast array of material. The live performance projects a powerful and direct vibe to the audience.
