Nice? Nice? Knife was disapointed...he had ment to take her breath away. He had always thought this place was so beautiful...but she was the daughter of a rich man, what could he expect? It was the best he could do...he couldn't show her a palace or a temple. He smiles at her, although now it was a little less carefree. He sees Scarlet looking back at the trees. "There's not much back there to see...just a fire pit and a few logs. Come on." Taking her hand lightly in his own lager one, he guides her to a large flat rock, warmed by the sun. He sits with a sigh and squints as he looks upwards. "My friends...I dunno. You...them...I dunno how...how well you'd get along..." But, not wanting to offend her, he adds, "But maybe...maybe later." He smiles at her again, now with full feeling. Something was stirring deep down inside the boy...something new.
