The shimmering stallion and elven maiden made their way down the path. Translucent they seemed in the moonlight. The silver horse stopped right beside the edge of the waters, letting his master slip off onto the ground. Her golden hair slipped down to her waist resembling the waterfall that was before them, her grey orbs, like the stars above. The elf slipped off her shoes and cloak wading into the water, it was cool in the Autumn night, but she waded in until the rippling water was up to her waist, lapping at her golden locks. Unearthly she looked, then a song leaked from her lips. In elvish it was, but it was beautiful all the same, and mysterious. An image of a mysterious forest made by magic long ago entered the mind of any that heard it. Beauty beyond measure, trees as old and wise as any. And the immortal folk roamed the land. Unicorns and perfect horses of the Arnwyn galloped about. Everything was wreathed in a pure and endless light like the maiden and the stallion themselves. The forest was called the Durinhai, home to the High Woodland Elves and the birthplace of the horse breed the Arnwyn. Her song ended in beauty and wonder. Then the elven woman dipped her head back into the water, coming up again, she shimmered like millions of jewels in the moon and starlight. Unreal, unearthly, untouchable by any means she seemed. But beautiful beyond measure, she was.
