.death becomes her.

.life is a funny thing. why that odd look 'pon his mug, while he was consumed in his own thoughts? what was he suspectin' of her? some secrets were meant to be told, yes? true...she fancied him. she'd not lie about that. but she wasn't about to go child bearin' while he was still attached to the dove 'pala', wherever the vix' might have gone. this kona was one that stood 'pon her own two feet, or hooves should she say. she liked to have control, and although she was secondary mare on the harem list, she wasn't second in any steed's heart. she knew this well.

.but enough of thoughts. actions were far more important. the bronc's inquiry brought her back to realuty. she answered, voice gentle, yet strong. i am well enough, m'lord. i presume that i shall be far better once we have begun the raid. it has been too long since i have battled against the lights. her tone purred. eyes shadow, remembering old times. my how much she could remember of her past. t'was like it never left her, never ended. her life tormented her. and yet, she did enjoy the challenge. eyes focus once more, and listened to what her lord might have to say next.
