Author: Muireall Darkensong
Subject: .:New arrival:.

The sun was slowly rising in the east, sending its rays of light over Falandia. In the forest, small rustling noises can be heard as gradually all the animals who called it home awoke from their slumber and began the day anew. Muireall, much to her annoyance, was awoken by the sunlight shining full on her face. With a mumbled curse, she sat up, rubbing at her eyes. Stretching and yawning, she stumbled to her feet much refreshed from the night spent in a forest.

Smoothing out her dark skirt Muireall yawns once more, than bends to reclaim her bow and arrows from the earth. Then, unfolding the map she had received, her emerald eyes scan in carefully. “Forest... There be forest all over this accursed thing.” She exclaims in disgust. “How should I ken where I am?”

Muireall had grown up running wild in the forests surrounding her clans home, and would never want to be anywhere but a forest. However, at the moment she was lost, and the only thing she knew of her whereabouts was that she was surrounded by forest. Such a great help, really.

“Ah well. So much for that then.” With a sigh, the map is refolded and tucked under the belt slung at her waist. “Might as well keep walkin’ then.” Slipping soundlessly through the trees like a wraith, Muireall’s mouth curves upwards in a soft smile. If she had to be lost, there was no where else she would rather be. Staring in wonder at the trees surrounding her, Muireall fails to notice the dead tree lying across her path. With a yelp of surprise, she trips, and just manages to break her fall with her hands.

“Aye, I suppose I deserved that.” She murmurs to herself, rubbing her ankle. “Acting like a blooming idiot at the sight of a few trees.” Here she snorts in a very unladylike manner. “Just trees like any others. Nothin’ to goggle at.”
