Subject: Should the woods level be at night?

I think it's better suited for night time, since we have a monster in the end, and bat attacks all the time.

But how do we handle lighting in it?

If we put at daylight, we have to eliminate the bats, and the skeleton in the end will sound kinda weird.
The positive side is that we have the sun to iluminate everything. And we put the fog as a mist or something.

If we put at night, bats can do a great surprise attack, and the skeleton will fit better.
The fog will represent the lack of visibility. That'll be okay.
The downside is how we're gonna treat the lights? Lit torches can do a good way, but since we are making it multiple path, there's no way to put torches everywhere.
(and they could ignite a fire in the woods, by the way)

What is in question is when the FIRST level should be. I like the notion of 'realtime' making every level being later than the other.
