I really liked this episode. First one that I felt some honest to god tension (of the non-sexual variety) between the characters. Tension good! Tension leads to conflict, conflict leads to drama, drama leads to long-running series. At least in my wishverse.

I could definitely feel the strain of the out of order scheduling though (will this be the end of it? please?), the cattle tie-in from last week was strained at best. And definite kudos for making Shepherd interesting with a side of sinister.

Darby, maybe they used a post holer to make a hole for the stake River was tied to, that was my guess at least.
