Now maybe you can begin to see why seeing the eps out of order was such a big topic of discussion last fall.

Frankly I think Shindig is a prime example of how it affected the way I saw the show. Having seen The Train job first I didn't know that Kaylee was not a long time member of the crew. So when Kaylee was insulted by Mal in front of the dress, it seemed to be a strange reaction to something between two people who seem so familiar with each other. Frankly, even if it wasn't a nice thing for Mal to do, I was a little put off by Kaylee. But, knowing now that this wasn't a long running thing, but a crude joke at the expense of someone Mal didn't know very well, I'd stick up for Kaylee's side of it, and put all the blame where it belongs on Mal.
