Now it’s been a little while since I’ve watched War Stories. Saving myself for the DVD, let’s watch everything in order a-thon. So, I went back to read what I said way back in the when, but that was mostly useful for my contemplation of this last weeks Smallville, so whatever.

But I like the idea of War Stories as the anti-ennoblement. “We few, we lucky few, we band of buggered.” Wait that’s not how it goes.

War Stories isn’t exactly the Saint Cripin’s Day speech.

Violent and harsh and there are no unicorns. Just sewing your ear back on and keep going.
