The short reign of this King was never to be rekindled? A sense of disappointment was found stirring inside him. He thought Dagger to be most worthy of the position of monarch, the generous and kind nature appealing to the colt who had only ever shied away from stallions for the stereotyped arrogance and ferocity. What folly it was to have believed the nonsense and he dipped his head towards the ground in understanding. But the subject of his thoughts seemed nonchalant about it, with no trace of bitterness or jealousy and a small smile broke out to return the one given to him. "Do you approve of the replacement?" Was it just another power-hungry steed or someone who would set things for the better. How he hated the turbulent changes and shifts in power, preferring the security that came with constancy.
