Her own sculpted tufts twisted around when the rumble was produced from the shadows. Tempted was the equine to reply with a rather unkind hiss, or snap of her jaws. *..Shadowed Flames.. your being rather annoying. Something bothering you?* Mentally she sought him out, pressing her mind to his. An advantage he was her twin, and close by for her ablities to communicate via telepathy were rather weak. Afterall she saw no need in them when she could speak through her jaws. Unless he was in this situation. Turning back they caught the syllables pressed from the jowls of the charcoal virile. No emotion played across her dark facade, she had to well of a mask. If she had not, it would have been a mild shock. She had heard stories such as this before. It was nothing new in the big bad world. At least he didn't seem to be all torn up, and oh my life is ruined about it.

"Hard-knock life out there I suppose. Lucky us we don't get much of the hormone crazed stallion stuff."

Everyone had their sob-story and she had heard a lot of them. Sure it was awful, but there wasn't anything to do about it now. No use in telling him how sorry she was it had happened, and it was so bad, and blah blah blah. Brain comprhended his next words and she gave a simple nod her crown.

"Yea.. here it's a little different. Got even some mares that get to run things."

[Ugh. This post if half-finished but I have to get off the comp. Sorry..]
