News traveled quickly around Cascade Mountains, very quickly indeed. It seemed Tori's only son had been quite the busy stallion lately, first securing Moonlight's freedom in a bloodless coup and then her own in a not-so-bloodless revolt. Hex's crimson form had not gone unnoticed by the aging dame or her rapidly growing filly, nor had the sight of his mangled side. Apparently Hex had gotten as good as he had given in his battle for her. Without a backwards glance, the gilded matriarch nudged the milky hued bella into motion, darkened pistons beating the familiar path back to her homeland.
