"Oh, stop it," Kireina snapped irritably. "Stop fighting, you two. Diabla, just say you're sorry for insulting adopted foals and that'll be good enough for me. Does this situation really call for physical assault, since you're technically the one to blame here?"

More to herself than the two mares she now stood between, the filly muttered, "Adults can be so irrational. God forbid I ever act with such poor judgement."

She turned to the slender Foschia with the vaguest shadow of a smile. "Thanks for defending me, though I doubt your rebuttle was fully based on your general goodness of heart. I don't think I've ever been treated like I have anything worthwhile to say."
