The stallion crept forward quietly, as if not to disturb the other who laid so comfortably upon his ground. The bay approached close enough to hang his brown head above hers. It was a comical sight. Two eyes peered down, and a wild, black forelock hovered near them. If his head had not been totally perdendicular to the needle littered floor, the unruly hair would have completely covered his eyes. The stallion's elegantly curved ears pointed upwards in a "listening behind" position rather than a "listening forward" placing. The Rebel Leader's mug cocked to the side, ebony muzzle lingering directly above her eye. Maybe she fainted, the male thought. Deciding to test her aliveness(heh), the thoroughbred snorted in her face. Clearly, Aphrodite's Flower was worth more alive than dead.
