The mare watches the other, and without another momentary hesitation, jerks away from the deadly strike. She tucks her head even closer to her chest, not wanting to make the same mistake again, and bolts forward with all her might at the other. Quicker then the last, strikes out with her right forelimb, aiming at the mare�s shoulder, as a distraction. As her ivories dive for the left of the mare�s throatlatch, biting down hard, not knowing weither she got flesh or not, she pulls back again with great vigor. After assaulting her enemy she bolts, again, to the left out of range, ready to shield another attack.
