"oh, just dandy," she says with a grin, turning to canter in Dagger's wake. "Care to joing us for some ice fishing? Or do you prefer skating?" Might as well take advantage of the cold weather while it lasted, boring though it was. Throws a crowhop as she accelerates towards the lake, charging headlong past Dagger and sliding out of control across the hard surface as her hooves hit the (hopefully) sturdy ice. Spinning to a halt, she looks back towards the shore, balancing lightly on all four hooves, still miraculously upright. With a small laugh, she calls to her friends, "Minnows are the only thing you'll catch by the shore...anything larger than a few nibbles is out away from the bank. They don't become big by being stupid, you know." she jokes, scraping awkwardly at the slick surface to create a jagged hole, trying to maintain her balance at the same time, musing under her breath. "Don't even like fish, come to think of it, but what the hey. I suppose not all horses are vegetarian-It's worth another try." Staying away from the dark ice, where it is thin and therfore more liable to crack under her weight, she continues steadily expanding her hole in the solid white terra firma-though it was not terra it was most certainly firm-very much so. Not discouraged in the least, she continues determinedly chipping slowly away at the ice, not stopping to consider how ridiculous it must look for a lone horse to be stranded out where she currently was, digging a hole, of all things. Ah well, she figured, all in the name of show business. Dutifully scraping and slashing away, she wisely chose not to alert her friends to the fact that she had utterly no idea what the trick to this act was-she had never succesfully pulled it off before. Previous attempts had been quite frankly -disastrous- so to speak, yet she plasters on a confident smile, encouraging her friends to venture away from the edge.
