He then looked away from her, as if attempting to lead the subject away from this. "Umm.. no." Adrian replied unconvincingly. Duh, he just said it. Not like she would suddenly decide she'd never heard it.

Instead of correcting himself, he simply let it stand. The auburn would let AF do with it as she pleased. Few horses really knew Adrian. It's probably better that way.
