Subject: Life's on Hold

The chestnut mare slunk in the shadows, her hooves barley crunching the leaves. The shadows tuned her coat a dark brown and her golden orbs suryd the land. She moved closer to the edge of the shadows, colser to those who would like to live. One flank movwed out for a minute and rippled gold befoer it quickly darted back in the shadows. She lifted her mug to the wind and sniffed, this would seem like a good place to stay, if they would allow her. She would stay here until duty required her to die.
