The black turned and faced the flicka. She was on the groud, apparently injured. The steed glanced at Ginger, and lauhed inwardly. Cookie had obviously inherited slyness from the mare. Playing along he trotted cautiously up to the fallen one. "Uh...Cookie? You OK?" he would've laughed had he not been acting innocent.
