Three sets of eyes locked on the dark form. Sati blew a derisive snort and promptly left the scene after ascertaining who the voice belonged to. The patchwork jezebel had a good idea what the curious shape-changer thought of her and had decided not to waste her time on the male. There were others milling about Dark Evergreens that she would much rather converse with. Well, maybe not, but she still didn't want to talk to the elusive, always growling relative of Firelight.

Texas, while not as brazenly rude, had other things on his mind. Dipping his crown in an absent-minded greeting, he lumbered off. To do what, who knew? (not even me!) His bulky frame disappeared into the covering shadows, leaving the filly behind.

Haven alone actually listened and acknowledged the shapeshifter's greeting. Her alabaster splashed dial tilted sideways, trying to understand his words. Failing miserably, she clung to the hope that the melodic lyrics weren't Canine-talk or Kitty-speak for 'Prepare to die, tasty morsel, for you are dinner.' Holding her ground, she scratched a dull hoof restlessly against the dirt. She rolled a shoulder in a shrug, her high-pitched soprano escaping velvet labrums. "Sure. I'd rather be home though."
