(Arching her graceful neck, the auburn filla observed the two mares who had, surprisingly, arrived to welcome her. Hiding her surprise behind a cordial facade, the burnished beauty answered the questions put forth to her, honeyed tones ringing musically)

"My name is Catastrophe but I prefer Cat, if you please." she replied succinctly. An aura of wariness surrounded the youth, giving the appearance that she was older than she actually was. A pity since youth is often squandered and not cherished for the gift it is. Nevertheless, the bay pony presented a crooked smile to her welcomers, secretly delighted that anyone had noticed her presence at all.
