Subject: -:Apparition:-

The sylph ingressed without fanfare, without announcement, and most notably, without company. Her alabaster hide was easily discernible among the towering trees, the pristine hue lending her an almost ghostly aura, how appropriate. For a ghost she seemed, a former resident of the Forest of Shadows stepping timidly across the threshold of oblivion to join the world once more. Silvery tendrils swirled about her neck and flanks, a gossamer mist that hid her features and trailed her movements like a wake of moonlight. Ethereal but nonetheless touched by the cruel hands of Reality, a fallen angel making her way back from the abyss. Her mind wandered as she meandered through the forest, the dark sentinels reminding her of her former home. What did she hope to gain from this re-emergence into 'society'? An end to the loneliness that had plagued her existence since her birth? No, that she had grown accustomed to, though she had never embraced it. Perhaps merely a diversion from the everyday banality of her life on the fringes of the herds that dominated the mountain range? A rueful grin twisted her ashen lips as she lifted her dark eyes to peer intently around the forest. Yes, perhaps.
