The light brown stallion steps before her from the midst of the trees. He tosses his refined mug lightly, freeing his eye sight from the overgrown ebony forelock. Darkly tipped ears pivot to face the ink stained mare expressively. His chocolate tinted eyes watch her with guarded intelligence, unsure of her intentions yet willing to listen. Four slender, coal pointed limbs cease all movement and anchor themselves loosely to the needle-carpeted forest floor. The evergreen canopy overhead is tightly knitted together, obstructing much of the sun's strengthening light. However, the horses of the north forest find the lack of sunlight only a minor hindrance. Some say it builds character.

"Yes?"

The reddish auburn stallion then questions lightly, eyes gliding carefully over the shadowy features of the female. The King then awaits an answer.
