Unblinking, she gazes steadily at the mare as she comes closer, showing no signs of stopping until the last possible moment. (a mare after her own heart, lol)The filly's icy orbs lift up, drawn hypnotically to the ivy colored ones abruptly appearing above her own. A smile appears, stretching across the young one's face like a ray of sunshine after a storm. She bobs her head respectfully to the high-ranking mare, wanting to make a good impression. "Pleased to meet your-acquaintance-Gingerbread, ma'am-my name's Dejavu. Thank you for offering assistance so readily-I am a newcomer here, and was just wondering whose permission I need to recieve to live here." Her voice is soothing, easygoing, unfazed, a hint of playfulness in the tone, surprisingly mature for a 3 year old, though it stumbles a little over the unused formality she is bringing to this conversation. Her eyes sparkle as she lifts her head once more to meet the mare's gaze square on-yes, the rank difference is a little intimidating, but she is unafraid.
