The filly looked smooth, confident and unafraid, the mare smild and gave a short nod of approval. How old are you, child? the mare asks kindly, in a motherly type voice. Her eyes lightened as she watchd the young filly. The world is tiring, cruel and tough when you are young, wether or not this one knew it, she did a good job of hiding confusion or fear.
