She lowers her head until she feels her respect has been accepted. She raises her head, a calm look about her.

I am N.V.S. I come wishing to find a herd.

She declares. She smiles warmly, and nodds slightly.

I am wondering whether you would have me or not. Your herd looks well mannered and well guarded. I'm left to wonder whether you will accept me or not, being a stranger.

Her smiles fades a bit, and slight worry comes over her eyes. The black mare lifts her one white sock and lowers it again. She breathes out of her nostrils, almost like a sigh.
Then, she waits.
