Colt feels the intensity lighten.He heaves a small sigh of relief. My name is Dagger. All is quiet for a moment. Feeling rather frightened, the colt shifts nervously. Um, are there any other colts here? he asked politly. He wondered weather he would be excepted....

Flash Back
"You are the future leader of this herd! You cannot tell me to stop giving examples! You still have much to learn, colt!" the gray shouted, a young bay crouched behind Dagger.
"But he's younger than me, Father!"
"I am the leader! You call me 'sir'!" the gray screamed angirly.
"But, you are still my Father!" the gray reared. "SIR!" Dagger added.
"You are an insult to my family! You are no foal of mine! Go now, before you anger me more." Dagger turned and fled from the frightened cries.
He ran to where the mares grazed happily, directly to the dapple that was his mother.


Dagger looked at up at the bay, he had a coldness to him, but not like his father had. The answer to his question remained unanswered.
