"I am here." He introduced himself to the herd of horses. "I am Nza Shaeza, the forgotten brother of Daughter of Light!"
The herd became uneasy.
They had a right to be. Never would a horse nor man ever dare to speak to a cloaked man. His eyes flamed. "I am here to take back the mountains and my steed." The herd now became bewildered and aggressive.
"Of course you remember Thunderwave, brother of the first king, Malussinn?"
A horse reared and charged at the impudent figure. The figure ripped off his cloak. No one saw what happened, that is, before they saw the horse, limping on the ground, with a tremendous gash in his side. The figure withdrew himself from the fray, grabbing his cloak, disappearing into the shadows.
