The mud bay turns his head quickly in the direction his name came from. After a few moments of scanning, the stallion's impassive brown eyes then land upon a pale female. He trots closer, energetically, as if he were a colt. His hard black hooves emit muted thuds on the fallen pine needles as he approaches. He shakes his head irritatedly to save himself from the flying pests. A few patches of sunlight shine through the canopy of pine trees. They dance freely about the forest floor and upon the coats of the horses. If the wind happens to sway the ancient trees, the patches seem to dance faster. Sometimes the sunlight would shine right in the thoroughbred's eye and then jump away only to shine back upon his eye. He shifts a bit and tilts his head to the side, attempting to keep as much sun as he could from his eyes. Not like Adrian doesn't like sun. It's all a matter of being able to see. Yes, I am Adrian. He answers her call, his brown ears batting at the air. The mare was not familiar to him, and in response he replies in caution.
