In reply to: Roxie 's message, ".With the right song and dance you can get away with murder." on 22:54:05 08/13/03 Wed

An ear turns towards the ebonite mare. He allows himself to glance briefly in her direction.

"Hallo."

The lightly brown stallion greets simply and with natural friendliness. Turning his full attention back on the red form of Roxie, he raises his coal-stained nose a fraction and sets his ears flat, illustrating his current frustration.

"Hot potato."

The stallion snorts in smouldering distain.

"The game ends here."

He announces confidently. An expressive ear then pivots to point towards Roxie again. Soon, the other follows suit, a bit more tempermentally. A black hindleg lifts from the ground, only to stomp back down upon the soft earth. Now, besides their consuming fire, his soft chocolate pools reveal a trace of hidden pain. Though, its source is nothing related to such current events as these. The cause is deeper, and that leaves even Adrian himself puzzled. The auburn gradually permits an optimistic smile to invade his worrisome blockade.

"Yes. I know I can never give in, and I never will. It would only ruin what has already been built. And this I promise, upon pain of death."

Quietly, the thoroughbred finds means to laugh at himself. His eyes spark slightly.

"It is good to hear I have such intelligent support."

Adrian attempts a wink, and, as usual, fails miserably.

..adrian to power..
