The scruffy young colt looks up dimly as this new mare approaches the frigid stream from which he has been drinking. The icy water drips from his dark muzzle as he raises his strange blue eyes, cloudy like his sire's but filled with something weirder, deeper; a ferocious independance. Oh wonderful, it's another one. Another aggravating mare trying to capture my father's heart. Tossing his thick black mane as he turns his golden head to face her directly, he snorts sharply. She'll find out soon enough that he doesn't have one.
