The golden colt, now almost fully in his adult coat and standing surprisingly tall, approaches his brother and nips him lightly on the shoulder. "Onii-san?"

Kishiga turns his brutal blue eyes on his fraternal twin. "What do you want?"

The slightly younger of the two is not intimidated by his sibling's attempts at incidental intimidation. His own cerulean eyes, the exact same cloudy blue as Kishiga's, turn to impenetrable glacial ice. "Onii-san, we are both three years of age. We should leave this place. Will you come with me?"

In silence the buckskin watches his palomino twin. Kishiga looks far more like an Andalusian than anything else, whilst Szakira is a virtual carbon copy of their sire. It is only the eyes that would tell an onlooker that the two are brothers, much less twins. And there has always been an animosity between them, since the elder brother's accidental abandonment at a young age. But now is time to forget the past. "Let's go, then."

Szakira's eyes sparkle as he breaks into a trot, glad his brother was willing, if not to forgive their sire and dam, then not to pass on the blame to one innocent of any fault.

Kishiga pushes up the pace and falls into a canter as they depart Dark Evergreens.
