A sharp snap of his tail signals a slight irritation in the colt; it almost bothers him that the stallion remains unaffected and immovable. Not that anything he had done been all that impressive, but nevertheless, the young black wishes that Ziraga was more than simply passive aggressive -- the present state of the stallion is almost...frightening.

Just as the colt is about to move closer for the comforting embrace his father's presence extends upon him, he pauses, his gaze moving to snatch a glimpse of the speaker. Although, at this point, he can care less about how the stallion's loyalty is placed, the names of his grandfather and father in the same phrasing send shivers of apprehension down his spine. Sudden surprise is reflected in the youth's eyes as he is caught frozen by the brief glance sent in his direction. Dropping his head nearly too quickly, he nips uneasily at the grass as he continues to be a listener in the conversation between adults.
