OOC: I wish to warn everyone reading this that it MAY be offensive due to its topic and subjective material.

Wooden door flings open, revealing the tear-eyed wife. And I...I was the mistress upon her silk-sheet bed. Naked, exposed, I scramble to cover-up the obvious. Friend, now fiend stared with cold, bloodshot eyes, pressing the question: Why? I shake my head, as the man I love marred our bitter-sweet relationship with denial, trading passionate pink romance for a mud-covered wedding. After gathering red and ebon leather and lace, worn for pleasure the night before, I scamper out of the doom relationship, closing the thick wooden door. Rain patters upon cobblestone, as I blubber tears of regret. All my fault...it was inevitable.

Her mind phases into the truth-reality. The sickening thud and pat-pat of the rain had disturbed her illusions. Rain. It was raining. As if caught without a sturdy umbrella, she had no shield to hide herself. Broken pieces remained from the dense wall of detachment. Breathe, Isis. Breathe.

Gnawing her lip, she chews away spoken curses of desperation. She coerces her tense muscles to mitigate, assuming the position of departure. "Okay," quietly she says. He’s not worth the anguish. Regain yourself.

Oh, but he is, she retorts, sparking a quiet rage. One day... A petite smile crosses the pale face. He will come-no, beg for me. "Enjoying the rain?" She adds, with sudden thanks. She was not the only one who sheds tears...the heavens cry too.
