] Date Posted: 12:34:38 11/27/04 Sat In reply to: CHARLAS 's message, "IRELAND" on 03:12:41 11/27/04 Sat Our policy towards the IRA is so weak that they are thereby encouraged. Look at the prisoners for weapons thing... we'll let out a lot of murderes, knee-cappers, nail-bombers and such like who are serving 87 consecutive life-sentences, and ask the IRA, nicely, if in return they'll give up some weapons. "Sure," they say. "But let out the prisoners first to show you trust us." "Okay," says Tony. So out go the prisoners, no weapons are given up, and we wonder why the people of Ulster start to vote for the truly bonkers Ian Paisley who would just have all convivted IRA terrorists shot and their bodies shipped to Rome with a note on the shroud saying "F.A.O. John Paul II., aka Antichrist" There is surely a better way of dealing with terrorism. It's quite racist, in my opinion. If anyone so much as talks to a terrorist in the Middle East, or is unfortunate enough to live in a country where there are some terrorists, Mr Blair will unload thousands of tons of explosives onto their town in the hope that not too many civilians die and a few terrorists are not so lucky. But if a terrorist is white and Christian, they are made Education Minister in the new Ulster Asssembly. Bit inconsistent, what? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
