] Date Posted: 10:00:21 01/08/05 Sat In reply to: Curnoack. 's message, "Jesus was cosher" on 08:45:56 01/08/05 Sat Ian said: "And I could never believe in a god that told me I couldn't eat bacon." Well thats ok becuase presuming he is a christian then the fact that Jesus doenst eat bacon is fine because he isnt a God. And secondly there is a pssage in the bible on the subject of pig meat. God tells one a christian very clearly that he has no right to call any of Gods creations unclean and that he should he eat pig meat. Of course Ian could well be an Atheist anyway. Date Posted: 18:35:22 01/08/05 Sat So, Jesus didn't eat bacon and eggs. More fool him, but what has that got to do with me? I certainly don't believe that a character from a book created the universe. But then, the list of things that I don't believe in is almost infinite, so I don't really see why I should be defined simply in terms of one of my non-beliefs. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
