Many of the people in these countries actually have the same fears you do. I was in Germany in '02... far from being the rabid pro-Europeans they are made out to be, in actual fact many of them were opposed to the Euro, and the large amounts of cash they had to hand over to the EU... Yet if you look at the media, one side will have you think the Germans are the biggest Europhiles of the lot, and the other that they want to make it a fourth Reich. [ Post a Reply to This Message ] |
