I am going to look into that. I am sure that it will be easily set up. The Future - Commonwealth Federation is not supposed to be a link - it should be an underlined title. I will fix this. Also the Barbados and Bahamas flags are not showing properly so I will fix that by tomorrow. I will get back to you when I look at setting up a separate site for the history page - you are right - many people will be interested in this and it should draw attention to the FCS. I want to use something like www.britishempireandcommonwealthhistory.com Ofcourse, it will include a proper link to the FCS main web site. This page is very long, so I may split the new site into four pages as follows: British Empire Commonwealth Crown Commonwealth Proposed Federation (with a link to FCS international site) I will let you know when it's ready. If you do decide to set up an external page, I would explain in a brief abstract the idea behind the FCS and then put in a more explicit link to the main site at the bottom of the page than exists in the fcscanada site. Date Posted: 22:17:34 11/10/04 Wed In the "Today" word map (which is very interresting) it might not be strictly accurate to refer to the groupings on the map as "post-colonial" associations. Poland & Roumania are great admirers of France and have a lot of closely-linked political systems & historic ties but it would not be right to describe them as ex-colonies. I very much suggest keeping the title of the map as it actually states very well the initial idea behind these groupings. Perhaps, though, explain just below that these two states joined the Francophonie in the post-colonial age because of their admiration for what that organisation had become. Similarly in the same note an explaination that Mozambique asked to join the Commonwealth because of its admiration of that organisation's principles (although historically it was a Portuguese colony) would make sense. Date Posted: 14:41:20 11/11/04 Thu OK - I have removed the go-nowhere links and straightened out the uneven chart and fixed the Barbados and Bahamas flags on the Commonwealth History page. On the front page of the FCS Canada site, there are now two entry links in English and French. The French one takes you straight to the SCF Canada French page, so that a French-speaking person can look at everything in French without having to go through an English page. The English link goes straight to the Principles in English. These are all good suggestions from people on this forum which have made the Canadian site even better. Right now, I am following Paddy's suggestion and adding a note to the map of Post-Colonial Associations Today about those countries which were not colonies of those groups. This change should be up by tomorrow. The note will be at the top of the page under the title. Also, I have found some other go-nowhere links on some other pages, which are being fixed and will be up tomorrow. Then, the site will be completely updated. I will then go about setting up a new independent site for the Commonwealth History page. I will see about resizing the maps to make them fit on the screen after that is set up.
