Subject: 1 Irons

I have tried all brands of golf clubs. Then I came across 1Iron Golf. I called and Mr. Lake himself returned my call. That was, in and of itself, a big shocker. He was extremely cordial, patient and helpful. He was also quite honest in advising me that a used/demo set was as good a buy as a new set of irons. Based on the discussion with him, from which I sensed a person of integrity, I ordered the full set - 3 - LW, driver and woods. I had not used a driver in many years as I was as wayward off the tee with one as ever can be.
Much to my surprise after practising on the range for a bit I could hit the driver reasonably well, and with consistency. I still used irons off the tee, depending on the hole.

As for the irons, I am 99% dead straight down the middle of the fairway, even off the tee, with the irons.

All hyperbole aside, the irons are absolutely perfect. The quality is unmatchable, the shafts are amazing, and the ease with which I hit the irons is mindboggling. My golf mates are still amazed even after seeing me play them for months. They cannot believe the profound consistency - and length - with which I hit these irons. I am within a few feet of them off the tee, sometimes equal too, or ahead of them, they with drivers and me with the 3 iron. And that 4 out of 5 times.

In summary, Mr. Lake is quite modest in his marketing of his product. I am certain that if he were to get Tiger Woods to use 1 Iron Golf clubs, Tiger will win every Major for the next five years!

Btw, I bought a used set and they were perfectly new. I wonder whether they mistakenly sent me a new set? Hmmm.
