Hit several really nice straight shots with my 5 wood on the course today after a couple more range sessions with it. The driver is coming along also. The wedges will be ordered soon and then my bag will be all 1 Iron clubs except for my putter. I'm getting rid of everything else. Thanks for the advice and encouragement!

Ranjit,

Anthony Kim and Rory Mcilroy are both on the single plane model. But forget about all of that stuff. The swing tips essentially is a single plane swing, but knowing the ins and outs of that won't help you hit the ball. The most effective thing you can do is commit to those swing tips and try your best to forget about everything else. Believe me. It works, but you got to come to practice sessions with a clear and uncomplicated mind. Otherwise you will second guess everything and have horribly unproductive practice sessions.

Michael
