Subject: Swing Tips VI

I loved getting the swing tips email tonight... If someone has saved the previous 5 that I have missed and would email them to me I would be very greatful.

Just received my clubs on Tuesday and I have been to the range the last 2 evenings. This email on ball contact tells me that I am headed in the right direction. Actually I already knew that by the way I was striking the ball at the range. The first night hitting half shots everything was 5-6 paces right (short irons, more with long irons) but I just ignored it. Tonight I hit full shots and everything was sweet down the target line... well 80% anyway :)

I'm so impressed with how I have hit the ball on the range I can't wait to play a round and see if I can carry that confidence with me for 18 holes.

I would guess I have hit somewhere around 140-150 balls on the range the last 2 nights... not one sqwib, shank, pop-up or otherwise embarrasing golf shot has left my clubs yet. Puting 100% of my focus on where I strike the ball and letting the club do it's job has been the most valuable lesson I have learned so far.

PS... I gained 190 yards with this 3-iron...
How is that possible?
I have NEVER been able to hit a 3-iron! Until now...

The 'tips' emails are basically just excerpts from David's book.
I recommend the book. It's a pretty good read, and then you'll have all his pearls of wisdom in one place.
