I've only used my new 1-Irons three times but that's enough to know I'm going to like them!

I have to relay a little story…I was playing with a long time golfer and good friend who is a low handicapper (I’m a beginner and was having trouble with conventional length clubs). He was curious about my clubs and when he picked up my 3 iron he said, “You can’t get any distance out of this thing, it’s too short”. I explained the single length club theory, but don’t think he bought it.

A little while later we found ourselves in the middle of the fairway, side by side with 210 left to the flag. He was “out” a bit and with his 3 wood placed his shot right on the edge of the green. Here was my chance to show him what the 3 iron could do and I didn’t blow it. I hit a beautiful, high flying ball and placed it 10 inches inside his. He’s not quite as skeptical of the 1-Iron theory now!

I can relate to your story because the same thing happened to me.
