Sounds like we weren't the only ones to suffer at the hands of airlines. Can you top this...

We got into Newark on time and found our 4:45 flight sitting there waiting for us. Unfortunately, the only crew that could fly it to Phoenix was on the ground in Boston and couldn't leave due to weather. It was finally cancelled at 8:45. Sara stood in a long line at the gate to find out when we could get out. I called Customer 'Service' who told me that we were re-scheduled at 7:00 am TUESDAY but there was a 4:45 flight Monday out of LaGuardia connecting in Houston. We jumped on it. We were told to pick up our luggage and stood in line for an hour to fill out 'vouchers' and to be told it would be 2 more hours before our luggage would appear. After an hour, the guy in charge of luggage came out and said he was tired of getting our luggage and he was going home. We spent the night in Edison, NJ courtesy of Continental Airlines. We took an early shuttle to LaGuardia and got to see the Holland Tunnel and Chinatown. Once there, we traded for an earlier flight that was leaving at that time (which was 1-1/2 hours later than scheduled). We got to Houston early and successfully stood by for an earlier flight. Ended up in Phoenix exactly 24 hours later than scheduled vowing never to fly Continental through Newark again. This is the third time we have had major problems in Newark.

Sounds like BA has been equally bad for some.
