~�~Beast enters shadowed lair, but snarls and the shadows immediatly flee from his presence. Slinks to the last and darkest passage, the one room to his own, his retreat. Gently places the craddled precious before a pile of blankets and fur hides. He sighs and lays 'pon the pile, staring unconsciously at his stone daughter, Lady Fyre Singer. Thoughts were mixed and jumbled in his ever presently confused mind. Magiess had only been the best of friends, nothing more. His mind was open in the dim of the lair. He didn't remember having the feelings he had from his last meeting with the firess. He finally allowed his being to believe what he had until now ignored. He loved the firess. Simper flickers on ruby lips then fades. She was an independent dragoness as there ever was one and he did not see her needing much of any, or at least it seemed so. Immediate snort and he realized how pitiful he was being. Lying on his back with paws behind his crown. Brute seemed to be studying the ceiling, but the ebon lids might as well have been shut. He would protect, serve, and help as he could and leave the feelings ignored. But then before slipping into a light sleep, he saw how hard it would be.~�~
