Subject: Help with skirmish finds......

Got a call from WVTom and just couldn't say no. I got up early Saturday morning and meet Tom at the site. We talked for a while and looked at battle maps and a few books that discribed our skirmish area and away we went. Tom was the bullet finder that day for sure. I just kept finding modern stuff. Hunters sure have shot a lot in that area of the woods. I finally found three very nice bullets. I found the small bullet first and then the two 69's. I noticed when I got home that one of them is different than the others that I have found. Any one know what it is. Also the small one is like none that I have seen, it is a 58 cal and has a funny tip to it.

I then found a small button and when I dug it out of the ground I first saw the back side, I knew I had a button and I thought I had found my first army button. It was not to be but a very unusual find anyway with a rooster of pheasant on the front.

The last item I found was another unusual one it has a screw apart rear post and says Disson USA on the front.

Anyone have any ideas about any of these items. Thanks Tom for a great time hunting..Also give my buddies a pat on the head for me. HHing
