PRESS RELEASE

THANK YOU, MICHAEL J - TRIBUTE SONG

In 1993, Michael Jackson appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, after the first accusations were made against him. Songwriter, Ray Hoskins, knew Michael, having appeared with him on the 45th Academy Awards program in 1972.

Ray felt that a great injustice was done; knowing the many acts of kindness Michael has shown the world. He has donated millions of dollars to various charities, and has made a difference in many people's lives.

"Thank you, Michael J." is a tribute to Michael Jackson. Far too often, with the negative attention generated, people forget all of the good things he has done throughout his career.

This tribute was written over ten years ago, and Hoskins felt that there has never been a more appropriate time than now to share it with the world. The CD is over four minutes long, and is indeed, a beautiful song thanking Michael J.

Ray Hoskins was born in East London in 1955, and was trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and the Royal Academy of Music. David Joseph, who started the "New Seekers," discovered Hoskins when he was 17 at the Theater Royal in London where he was starring in "Sparrows Can't Sing."

He was invited to join the "Springfield Revival," a rehash of the original Springfields, which took him to the Oscars, where he shared a dressing room with Michael Jackson. The Springfield Revival performed "Come Follow, Follow Me," from a Disney movie called "The Little Ark," and which was nominated for an Oscar.

Mr. Hoskins can be emailed at raynormusic@aol.com, to hear a sound bite of "Thank you, Michael J," or to purchase the CD, please go to www.michaeljacksontribute.com.
