Subject: One more today-not good enough

Not good enough

My heart fails at the sound of your voice,
It had given up hope of hearing it again,
I have to say that this wasn’t my choice,
My head ran away with me again.

I tried to be faithful,
Tried to be true.
I tried to be with you the best I could,
But I guess I didn’t do as much as I should.

Now I am alone,
On my own.
My eyes fail now,
Darkness moves down.
I see no more.

As I fall into darkness,
One thought runs in my head.
Did I not treat you with Fairness,
Did I not give it everything I had?

My mind sighs,
As my body Dies.
My heart breaks,
As I lose your face….

I tried my best,
But It wasn’t good enough.
I failed the test,
I just wasn’t good enough.
