Subject: Mon. night & it's snowing again...
In reply to: mikey 's message, "We Received" on 03:43:31 02/15/10 Mon

Weather advisory, or whatever they call it, is in effect from 7pm tonight until 7pm Tues. night. It did start snowing pretty much when they said it would, and by the time it's all over, we should have another 3-5". I'm expecting the schools to announce another snow day. There's a good chance I won't be going to work in the morning, either. Mostly because of the terrain where I work. The employee parking area is on a slope and they don't do the best snow removal there, plus then we have to walk up a 30° incline, which is pretty steep (unless you're my boss telling worker's comp that it's a slight incline... which is complete BS!!! GRRR!). So, because my knees aren't the same after my injury, I simply refuse to walk on sloped terrain that isn't completely cleared and salted. They don't want me parking in the top lot which is flat, because they want that open for customers. They're afraid that because the area has only 2 parking slots that a customer might hit my car. More BS. I guess it's ok if there are 2 customers parked there and a customer's car got hit. And if a driver can't manuever their car in such an area, then perhaps they shouldn't be driving. (Sorry, the whole situation annoys the heck outta me!)
