Subject: It's almost that time.

I can hardly believe it's about time for school to begin again. My older son starts college on the 23rd, and my younger one enters 10th grade on the 30th. Where does the time go???

And the days are noticeably shorter. I hate that. I like when it's dusk at 9pm. :D I miss that already. Now we're having to go put the horses up at 8:30pm, and it's almost too dark at that time. Pretty soon we'll be putting them in at 8pm! They're not gonna like that!

I hate locking them in at night, but the Mini is an escape artist! lol He keeps finding ways to shimmy under the fence to visit the other horses, IF he's let out at night. During the day, while all the other horses are in the barn to avoid the heat of the day, he's fine and will stay in his own field with my mare. But at night, the other horses are let out to graze, so he likes to go "visit" them. We have to finish fixing our fenceline so he can't crawl under, then they won't have to be locked up, which is what they and I prefer. :)

Well, time to hit the hay. Gotta take my college kid to the bookstore to get all his textbooks tomorrow. Have a good Monday! :)
